So like 2 days ago was the first day of school!
I really thank God so much for giving me sufficient energy to stay awake during lessons!
I still remember my first year of J1 where I was kind of known for sleeping in class.
and now, my last year classmates said they rarely see me sleep at all!

Anyway, it was kind of weird attempting to integrate with the class assuming the way they neglect us or vice versa :P

Went to Mandarin hotel for their international buffet.
Service was kind of boohoo, and food choice was limited):
Definitely not worth the full price!
However, they had superb pasta, sashimi, veal sausage and naan :D

Was away for church camp from 18-21 DEC.
Like what I tweeted,
CAMP SO AWESOME. GOD SO REAL. PEOPLE SO AMAZING.
I don't know what else I can say.
So overwhelmed by God.
Going into the hall hungry and desperate for God,
really putting all focus on Him, worshipping Him.
Before the 5th session, during preservice prayer,
I was praying to God, expecting God to do something amazing.
But what He gave was more than amazing.
After the sermon, while worshipping,
I called out to God, asking for His presence to fall in the place,
asking Him to saturate us.
Then suddenly, God brought to my mind the word 'Insufficient'.
Pastor Matt shared about how we may not even know what's preventing us from growing nearer to God.
The feeling of being insufficient was something I never knew I hid/had.
Insufficient for God's love, insufficient for accomplishing tasks and probably insufficient in many aspects.
Then I started to cry.
When the leaders were sent out to pray for everyone,
I was crying out to God and worshipping.
Just then, I couldn't feel my legs, I was afraid of what was happening to me,
then, the feeling felt as gentle as a feather,
I fell backwards.
I couldn't control my legs and to sidetrack abit,
I did not feel any muscle aches from my legs(it was quite bad, my muscle aches).
The next thing I knew, I was on the floor, sitting and just crying.
First thing I did was that I apologised to God,
this wave of guilt came over me and all I could do was to say sorry over and over and over again.
Next, I proceeded to thank God, I just kept thanking Him,
for everything He's done in my life, everything that I've been through,
I just thanked God.
Lastly, I just kept praising God.
Praising for how awesome He was, for how amazing He was,
how He is King of all Kings and Lord of all Lords.
I didn't even know how all these words came out of my mouth,
it just, rushed out like a flood.
I guess it was the Holy Spirit speaking for me.
I just kept weeping and weeping!
When I wanted to get up, I felt super dizzy and I just sat there with my arms supporting my head.
Then, I was overwhelmed again and my arms suddenly had no strength at all.
It fell to the ground, again, gently, and my head just rested on my legs.
(Sherry saw me and wondered who it was with my hair all over the place, HAHAHA)
I just continued weeping in awe of Him.

Before I came to this camp,
I prayed to God for a breakthrough,
to have the child-like faith and going back to the first love.
God is so, extremely real and I thank God so much for letting me experience Him on a whole new level.
PRAISE GOD! :D

Went for cream bath for the hair in the morning!

The person applied the cream on my hair and massaged my hair(:

Went to a boutique to grab clothes today!
What seemed to be an assumingly disappointing trip turned out to be an extremely fruitful one!
The designer had sooooo many awesome clothes!:D

Duchess is the name of the shop and below he opened an awesome cafe too :D

Got 6 dresses, a skirt and a top from there:D

All the clothes were of awesome quality and fetched a good price compared to Singapore:D

Totally satisfied with the buy and mum said that this would be my year's stock of clothing):
Because the bill was as 'beautiful' as the clothes, HAHAHAH:D

Hung out the cafe too after shopping:D

Day 5

Went for a massage in the morning.
THE PLACE WAS SO AWESOME.
The exterior design of the building was so deceiving!!
It looked like an office building.
Then when you go in, it was like a mini mart.
However, when you enter the foot reflexology/massage parlour, OHMGEE!
It's like a totally different place!
The interior design looked like Atlantis,
the underground version.
It was extremely dimly lit everywhere.
The foot reflexology was on the first level while the massage place was on the second.
The first level had a nicely lit Christmas trees and massage chairs lined neatly each equipped with a small television.
There was a constand sound of a mini waterfall.
I think there's some fengshui thinge somewhere.
The whole place was filled with soothing music.

When you are being massaged, you have to go into individual rooms.
Because you have to take off all your clothes excluding the undies.
But the massage was divineeeee!
My massuer was super nice(:
Though she knew I didn't know Indonesian, she made an effort in english when we were finishing(:
While I was waiting for my mum and aunt at the refreshment corner,
(they had soup, luo han guo drink, ginger tea and water, ALL complimentary!)
she would walk past quite often and she would smile all the time!(:
And she pulled my hand to the refreshment corner to get something and did hand signals to communicate, when she saw my table was empty(:

However, one downside of the place is that ALL the massuers,
even the foot reflexology people,
had to wear santa hats):
I mean I would understand people at the cashier wearing it, but the massuers?!?!
Imagine going for a full body massage and your massuer wearing the hat,
or foot reflexology and he/she's wearing the hat.
It kind of made the whole thing seem comical... ):
and it feels, forced upon.

(Sorry there's soooo much description:P No cameras allowed in there!)

Went for manicure and pedicure!
It's like a must routine for mum and I to go mani and pedi at Indonesia(:
But I think next time I just wanna do manicure.
Then we went home/:
Thank God my nephew was staying over that day!:D

I played with him the whole day!
Super tiring and messy!
When it was time for him to sleep,
He laid on the pillow and tapped the pillow and told me 'Sleep!'

but he slept at my aunt's room so I couldn't but I had to lie to him):
So I laid beside him and he put his arm over my neck to hug me(:
but he didn't sleep at all so I had to leave for him to sleep and my aunt and uncle had to force him to not leave the room so he wailed):

Day 6

Went to ITC to shop for things.
HAHA, IC is like bugis street but alot messier!
and they sell fake goods and dvds(:

Apparently I was supposed to get clothes there, like loads of clothes!
But whatever I liked, the auntys and Mum didn't like!
And whatever they liked, I didn't!
So I only got 3 tops from there, and from the same shop of similar design(:

Went to cousin's house at night and spent time there hanging out(:

Nephew super cute!
He saw me and went to hide for a long time.
Cousin-inlaw had to bring him out and he ran to hug me again(:
then he walked 30cm backwards and ran towards me to hug me again and he repeated that super alot of times :D

then he was blowing this toy apple while sitting down and in between,
he farted and gave the 'smelly' face, HAHAHAHA:D

Bought these beads quite a few years back and I have no clue of what to do with them.

Thank God, mum has this elastic string that I've been finding for a long time to make this.

Met up with Charlyn last Sunday for flea:D
Went around FarEast to search for shoes first!
But I stopped myself from getting anything because of Indonesia...
(seriously can't wait to get there and hopefully get some stuffys!!)

We couldn't find anything so we went on to *Scape!
Charlyn got GongCha:D
(Because flea was always so stuffy and hot, bunned up my hair and pinned my fringe to get ready for the trip!)

Ohyea, just before we reached *Scape, we passed by H&M and because Charlyn hasn't went in before, we walked around(:
Browsed through and immediately fell in love with these 2 hairbands:D

Walked around the flea and couldn't really find anything nice):
But I got a bracelet!

Wanted to get a plain necklace, much like what Rachel Berry frequently wore on set.
It was a simple gold-chained necklace with a small heart shaped pendant.
Really sweet(:
But the heart shape looked.. weird/:

We walked and walked and walked but couldn't find anything):
So we proceeded to BFF(Best Fries Forever) for 'tea break' :D

Both good I shall say!:D
Satisfied and camwhored and ketchuped :D

Then we proceeded to *Scaape to walk around and Charlyn checked out Maestro for their ukelele!
There was this pastel coloured blue ukelele with yellow 'buttons'
Both her favourite colours but she didn't know if she should get it!
So we sat outside the place while waiting for her decision and camwhored somemore:D

It was a really great catchup and laughing session:D

I've lived majority of my life pleasing people.
This time, nothing's changed.
But God's brought into the picture now.
I don't ever want to lose sight of Him.
But the pain, the heartache, it's all killing me.
I feel my heart being stabbed, literally, over and over and over again.
My eyes get so tired of crying it brings me to sleep these nights.
God, help.
Please.
Help me overcome this period of time.
I need Your comfort.
I really, really need it.
I need a hug and someone to tell me that everything will be alright while letting me cry it all out on the shoulder.

Above was exactly what I drafted for my post today a few days back.
But now, I changed my perspectives.
I really thank God for the people He placed around me to help me and comfort me(:
It is indeed a very difficult period of time and I can't say I'll get better immediately but after Lifegroup today, I can say that I am really feeling much better.
God gave me His assurance(:

For the previous few days, I thought I was facing this difficult decision myself.
I bottled up all the pain and today, I'm glad that we talked about it(:
It'll be a tough period of time but we'll pull through.

There are so many thoughts running through my mind today.
Fuel prayer meeting was the only time when I got to settle down all my feelings,
collate them, and lift it up all to God.
God prompted me.
I noticed that for this whole time, God has been prompting me but I was living in denial and probably turned a deaf ear to it.
I felt the conviction this time and I just had to do it.
I'm afraid for what I may have/will face but, I don't want to keep it a secret anymore.
I can't worship God knowing that I've been keeping everything in the dark.
God spoke to me so clearly once and all I could do was cry and feel so helpless and go to bed sulking.
But I finally have to let it out.

Another striking news today.
My beloved 11S17 is going to disband.
I still rmbr my first step into the class.
It felt so cold and unfriendly I thought I would NOT survive this year.
It felt so odd.
But as the days and months went by,
the friendships that were forged discreetly became so...
strong.
I can't find a better word for it.
The news came as a shock though it was discussed that there was a probability.
But still, the reality refused to sink in.
I guess it did in the later part of the day.

Have I been putting a strong front for too long that I refused to show my weak side to anyone?
Have I reached the limit of what I can handle?
I wanted to cry about the class but I held back my tears not wanting anyone to catch the slightest glimpse of it.
I wonder what's going on in my own mind.

All in all, I hope everything will go well from now.
I see many cats that have escaped from the bag today.

Yesterday, the kairos students had to attend a CIP at YewTee,
Adopt A Block.
As for my group, we went around the rented one room flats to do surveys.
It kind of broke my heart of how these people(mostly elderly), are living alone and when it comes to support from the family, they hardly have any):
Yet, their spirits are still strong and they welcome us so warmly(':
I really admire people with the 'fighting' spirit.
What's more, all of them that my group surveyed have chronic illnessES,
yep, not just one but many of it):
It's time to count our blessings(:
I thank God for everything(:

Watched Green Lantern yesterday and I have to say, it was better than expected!
When I watched the first few mnutes of it, I thought it was going to be some lame movie with aliens and all.
But nooooooo, there was Blake Lively!:D
Don't get me wrong, it'd still be good if they were all aliens(:
I really like the story plot of how the ring chose someone worthy of it and could see the personality trait that the person himself may not discover(:

Last week I had a stayover at Gramps!(:
Thought it'd be good hanging out at Gramp's crib during this period of time(:
I'm glad Grandma is making progress bit by bit.
Thank God.
I think the love that Grandpa and Grandma share is really admirable(:
Every single day whenever Grandpa is free, he'd sit by Grandma and just talk to her though she can't talk back(':
Probably the reason for her speedy recovery is this emotional support she has received?(:

Anyway, I feel disappointed in myself):
I remember how Grandma always repeat that I'm her favourite grandchild.
But all I say to her in this time is Hi and Bye when what she really needs is someone there to keep her company and just talk to her about everyday's nothings.
I know everytime I call her, her eyes widen and breathing becomes deeper.
But all I could say is one sentence?):
I know where my weakness is, my stubborness.
My stubborness of not wanting to be seen as caring and of being shy when others(even my family members) are looking at me talking to her.
It brings me back to the days of Afatt):
Afatt passed away a few months back.
Even though I tried to keep my distance for around 2 years, it probably didn't work ey?
Cause when he passed away, I still cried):

Last friday was the J2's last day in school before they go off for their study break.
I just had to spend the last moments with the awesumsausumxz class of 10S23 :D

Alright so I fell sick since last friday and apparently,
I've been taking the wrong medication as told by the doctor.
(No wonder I haven't been recovering...)
So, he gave me 2 days MC plus drowsy medicine!
I can't believe it, yesterday mum and I had to wait for like one and a half hours for the doctor despite reaching the clinic at the time it opens!
But whatever the case, he's really good so.. (:

So, my birthday was last week on thursday and on wednesday,
one of my favourite group of friends brought me out for dinner (Y) :D

Changrong super fail pleaseeeeee!
I reached the place early and waited for the rest with Changrong.
Then they called him and asked him to meet them first but he said I was with him.
Then they probably asked him to say that he's going to the toilet but his reply?
'But I just went to the toilet.

Grammy got discharged from the hospital today after what seems to be like 44days?
I admire my Grandma's fighting spirit.
After suffering from a bad stroke many years ago, suffering another one earlier this year and YET another recently, she still continues to fight for her life despite being over 80years old.
Unfortunately, she can neither walk nor talk now.
Everytime we call out to her, her eyes will widen followed by deep breathing in acknowledgement or excitement.
She's definitely happy to get out of the hospital now cause during her second time stroke, she kept crying of wanting to get home):

Another person, or shall I say the person I admire most is my Grandpa.
Despite sooo many obstacles and worries that come his way,
he always put up a strong front.
He never admits to being tired though he always doze off while sitting down due to the extreme tiredness.
Despite both of his knees being super mad swollen, he still makes the extra effort,
LIMPING, to go see my granny.
When I ask him if it hurts, he say it's nothing much and just shrug/laugh it off.
There are many times that being him, I would breakdown.
Yes I know he's a guy but still, he never did, and stayed strong.
He wants the best for everyone but himself.
My dad told me 'Yeye always spends very little money on himself, but when it comes to you grandchildren, he'll give you anything you want.'

Today's sermon was a great one that got me thinking.
Whenever we fall into temptations, it shows the lack of confidence that we have in God and also that God provides out DAILY needs and not just our needs.
Just like what Pastor Daniel shared, if we need God just for our needs, then we don't need God, we need a genie.
Really interesting nugget there!
And I believe that God will be the strength if my life.
That He'll provide the strength to overcome temptations/strongholds in my life(:

After church, I went off the have my birthday dinner with my family(:
My mum forgot to buy cake for me):
but she said she'll buy it on the actual day, HAHA.
and SURPIRSE SURPRISE, BrotherBen gave me hongpao cause he's already working!

IHG was on friday.
And so 4 girls from my class, including me, participated in it!
HAHA, we lost terribly but it's the fun and participation that counts(:
In other news, glad that most of the class participated in the other activities and brought back some medals for Owens house!:D
Thank God that my friends persuaded me to go netball if not I would have been rotting in school the entire day.

End of promos(2)!

It's the end of the second round of promos.
Finally.
The expotentially high stress has lead to an outbreak of pimples, my eating disorder and my social exclusion.
It's time to partayyyeeeeeee, for a few weeks and it's back to the books!

The reason for the expotentially high stress level is due to the fact that,
yes, it is the second time taking it.
Retaining turned out to be a good thing after all(Praise God) and who on Earth knew what 'studying' I was doing last year.
HAHAHAHA:D

To mark the end of promos, my class(alright, most of the guys) decided to go play badminton!
Both the grips of my rackets are like.. corroding.
They are like sanding off.
Especially my green grip!
After I'm done playing, my hand was like 'female hulk's hand' as quoted by Suman.
Great way to end promos with a sporting activity!
And not to forget the upcoming IHG on Friday!

On another note, a terrible way to end promos with such an uncertain paper.
By the time I reached the last question of Chemistry paper 2, I was so drained that I couldn't bother to think about anything AT ALL.
Probably just calculating the marks that I will be going to lose.
I see my 13marks flying away~

Going to be sick and tired of this routine life soon, or maybe I am already right now):
The routine of waking up at 10am, gymming/swimming, bathe, breakfast, BigBangTheory plus Tumblr plus Facebook plus Youtube, study, dinner, study, sleep at 2am.
It's been like this for a few consecutive days already!

Above was supposedly my blog entry for today.
However, I saved it in draft and decided to continue it later.
I proceeded on to doing my physics homework with my mp3 plugged in and all and while I was doing my homework, it came to a worship song.
Somehow, for whatever reason, I just stopped my work and started to sing along and just worshipped God.
Meanwhile, I did my QT(My Utmost for His Highest) and HOW APTLY,

It's such an irony that the nursing home's, where the nurses abused the old grandma, name is Nightingale!
If I remember correctly, Florence Nightingale was an extremely hospitable nurse who helped nurse soldiers who were injured from war, back to health.
Nightingale laid the foundation of professional nursing!

So I'm back here in this miniature writing space after another hiatus.
Life has been good, I feel that my life is complete with awesumxz people around me(:

Meetups have been really fun filled and studying is a little here and there:P

So the math test was today and I felt super demoralised the hour after it because I felt like I've done so badly and that I really did study very hard for it):

Regional meeting was awesome today.
First I met my primary school friend who bullied me like crazy in primary school:P

I noticed that my mindset of going to Gramps every weekend solely for the purpose of dinner is wrong.
Like I go there just to eat dinner then I'm done and I want to leave.
How very wrong is that?):
I did not take the initiative to step into my grandparents' room and talk to them but rather I sit in the living room just lazing or doing hmwk.
I did not go into their room earlier to chat with them):
I shall start changing my mindset by this week.
Yes, homework needs to be done but after that, I'm going to teach grandpa how to use his new handphone.

I really want to try out different hairstyles but there are two major problems.
1) Hairstyling is not my forte.
2) I'm too lazy to find good hairstyling tutorials on youtube.
therefore, my dream of experimenting different hairstyles comes to a halt at that.

Studies so far has been manageable.
Compared to last year, it's much more copable as well:P
I can't believe I've never heard of so many things I need to know last year!
Unfortunately, I frequently get anxiety attacks everytime before a test):
and if I do well, I'm glad.
But I bet you all know how someone is when they do well, they aim for perfection.
In other words, perfect score.
you can never get satisfaction from these things, sheeesh!

But when I don't do well, I thank God that I don't dwell in sorrow but instead, it serves as a driving force to do better(:

Good Friday was an awesome one that started out with discipleship with Sherry and Peiru :D
Then we met up and Weiyan drove the church van to some mysterious place that both leaders refused to reveal to us where we're going.

Ever felt like you have a surge of faith every time God answers your prayer and suddenly, the next moment, it's gone like with the snap of your fingers?
And it's like you totally forgot that God answered your prayer and you go back to your life, with God out of the equation.
And you include God all over again when you need another prayer answered.

It's so amazing how God never gave up on us and even wait for us with His arms wide open even though we call to Him and (put it in an ugly term)dispose Him once things get settled every time.
It's like being a Christian only when you go to church and then when you exit the doors, you go back to your worldly life.

But above it says to live a life of Faith, it means a life of day-in and day-out consistency walking/talking/etc. with God.
Sharing with God your troubles/worries/happiness and also thanking Him for everything He's done in your life.
Yes, it is a challenge.
A huge challenge.
That's why it's a test, a test of Faith.
Our life, the obstacles we face, it's all a test of Faith.
Real faith believes that God can and expects He will but trusts Him even if He doesn't.

The bottom line is, are we willing to take up this challenge?
Phil 4:13 'I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.'

God, I don't do this Journey of Life alone.

It was about people sharing their testimonies and then getting baptised LIVE after that :D

Thursdays are my second longest day and I always feel wide awake and today there was additional chemistry lesson and lessons were pushed back by half an hour and all.

I absolutely hate doing intervals):
We ran 6 rounds of intervals and all of us were still recovering from Tuesday's thigh muscle ache due to relay runs/:
I never did a 6x400m intervals before.
NEARLY KILLED ME.
Thank God again I was able to push through and came in first/second.
BUAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH, okay, I feel proud of myself.
I'm not the fit kinda person kay, but I love(hate) to push myself to achieve something.

Alright, so I wasn't fretting over chinese results the day before but I went on Facebook and everyone was talking about ChineseAs/Alevel results.
Then I started to get the jitters.
(the detrimental effects of Facebook)
Then I had a nightmare that I got a C for ChineseAs.
It is a nightmare for me because I topped the class for Chinese.
Nope, not trying to boast, just to illustrate the extent of how shocking it was.

Finally, it turned out that Nightmare>Reality.
I didn't get an A nor B nor C.
Yes, I got a D despite having Merit for Oral.
(I actually thank God that I got a Merit for Oral cause I thought I'd get Pass or something)
I immediately felt dowwwwwwwwwn.
I felt like I wanted to cry but I didn't.
I don't like to cry, besides, it's been a decade since I've last did.
(okay, exaggerating)
Until I saw Fransisca crying cause she got a D too.
but still, I didn't want to let my tears floooow.
The school wouldn't allow you to retake Chinese cause S is the minimm requirement to get into a university and D is like 2 grades above.

I felt heavyhearted.
I told quite a few people about my, grades in hope that this grief would be lifted.
It didn't work though I thought it did.
What's more, my mum said it's so bad.
I don't like the feeling of disappointing my parents over and over and over again.

Then I went to Lifegroup.
Total highlight of the day.
As usual we did the sharing of praise reports, sharing ...
And finally, we did praise and worship!
Something we've haven't done in a long time.

We started to pray.
and I was telling God how sad I was,
I wanted God to take this grief away from me, I didn't want to feel sad, I didn't want to feel so heavy hearted.
I told God that even though I say I will praise Him no matter the results,
I can't bring myself to do it that moment.
I said I want to surrender everything to Him but I can't let it go, my results.

Then I started tearing.
Then while Jolyne prayed for the Lifegroup,
I felt convicted.
I started crying like a little madly.
the tears just kept flowing and flowing and flowing.
It was that moment when God spoke.
He pulled me back up my feet when I was sliding down.
He pulled me back into the Light when I walked away into the darkness.
I felt the care and the heavyness in my heart was lifted from my chest.
It's an indescribable, incredible feeling.
It can't be explained.
Then I found myself praising God.
For my results, for pulling me back to Him.
I love God, I really do.
I thank Him for the joy He gave me, a joy that's unspeakable.

God's presense was so strong,
quite a few of us cried.
I love how comfortable I feel when I'm with Outlive.
I love how we share almost about everything and anything.
I love the support and love I feel from them.

Initially I kind of dreaded entering this Lifegroup,
but now I see that everything happens for a reason(:

Ohmgee, it's 7:45am and I'm awake, on a saturday.
It's a miracle!
Not as if I'm having anything on this early.
I slept at 1245 and woke up at 2 plus feeling like I've slept for 6 hours already!

Yesterday was Road Run.
3.3km and I got in 100th place for JC1 girls!:D
and got the limited edition school collar pin -.-
It felt like a great sense of achievement.
But this year JC1 girls like so on!
Once the horn went off, they all started to chiong!

Initially when I stepped into 11S17,
the whole dynamism of the class, the energy they gave me,
totally turned me off.
My heart wrenched for being in this class.
Every passing day I dragged my feet to school, not looking forward to meeting the class at all.

Who knew, around 2 weeks later, I got to blend in with the class.
Just this week the guys made me laugh til I cried!
Best laughing session I had with this class so far:D
I could meddle with everyone and everyone seemed nice:D
(despite the fact that all the guys but 1 or 2 uses vulgarities like punctuation)

In time to come, I hope to unite this class(already making the effort to).
Honestly, my first impression of this class was so bad that I almost cried, missing 10S23 :P HAHAHAHHA:D
Looks like they proved me wrong! :D

I've been doing my QT and it was these few days that it kept emphasising on hearing God.
Then it came to a page where it said that you'd feel humiliation of taking such a long time to hear Him.
And I was like, poooooooop, it's has been long God):
The last time I heard God was probably 2-3 months ago?):
When people are like able to be hearing him like every single hour, minute and even second of his/her life!
